Principal and founder

The brains behind the business.

Beth Zimmerman founded Cerebellas in 2003 to provide objective, holistic and strategic counsel to businesses that want to improve their revenue potential. She fills the void left by management consultants, quant geeks, financial wizards, brand marketers and others [fill in the blank] with a unique, enterprise-wide perspective grounded in business intelligence.

In short, clients turn to Beth when they don't know what they don't know.

To each engagement Beth brings more than twenty years of international business experience across a range of industries, including construction, distribution, engineering operations, financial services, manufacturing and utilities. She has served global industry titans, such as Caterpillar, CH2M HILL, First Data Corporation, Intelsat, Navistar International and Western Union, as well as many fine mid-market organizations.

With each client Beth's goal is singular: to find hidden, untapped or latent revenue potential. Clients engage Beth for her informed objectivity, incisive analysis, collaborative work style and commitment to their business success. She credits her tenure as a practicing architect for her creative, yet process-driven approach to solving complex business challenges.

In addition to being an engaging and results-oriented consultant, Beth is an informative and entertaining public speaker, and authors the brighter bulb, a weblog at the intersection of business, strategy and politics, in addition to clue, a monthly newsletter weblog.

Beth serves on the advisory board of GDC Acquisitions LLC, a New York-based national provider of commercial lighting, maintenance and contract furniture. She is a participant in the Entrepreneurs' Organization Accelerator program for businesses looking to smash the $1M mark and a member of 85 Broads. Beth supports the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), The Humane Society of the United States and the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County.

Beth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from SUNY Stony Brook and a Master of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. She is an avid athlete, an amateur black-and-white photographer, a repressed writer and an unapologetic Yankees fan.
